Description
Classification level OO2 in Queensland state schools equates to Level 2 of the classification structure within the School Officers Award 2003, negotiated between Catholic Education Employing Authorities and the Queensland Independent Education Union. Within Education Queensland, education support workers who gain the Certificate III in Education Support and also meet certain other criteria are able to progress from classification TAOO2 to classification TAOO3. Equivalencies exist between the state classification 003 and Level 3 of the Catholic Education system, including the requirement for a qualification. The School Officers Award states for Level 3:Tertiary qualifications at Certificate level or equivalent qualifications relevant to the position may be required or such knowledge, qualifications and experience that are deemed by the employer as necessary to successfully carry out the duties of the position.
